Zaman International's Adult Culinary Classes feature homemade cuisine from around the world.  Learn tried and tested techniques from our Head Chef, Daniela Abel, and a corps of guest chefs.  Each class will donate food produced by the instructor to our Client Choice Food Pantry.  All student-prepared food will be eaten and enjoyed by students at the end of the class.

A general liability, media and allergen waiver must be signed prior to attending class.  Most classes contain a meat dish.  The Culinary Kitchen cannot accommodate requests for meatless, vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free or dairy-free classes.

Zaman's Kids' Classes offer Junior Chefs the opportunity to learn proper cooking techniques in a supervised and hands-on environment.  Even better, students will be giving back to local families in need through our KEEP program - Kids for Equity, Equality and Peace.  Each child will be asked to bring a recycled item from their home (a water bottle, a milk jug, or anything in between!).  After each class, students will be given a sticker to decorate their recycled item and use it as a receptacle to collect loose change to donate to Zaman's food-insecure client families.

Kids' classes are only available to our junior chefs, between the ages of 8-12.  No exceptions can be made.  Teens, ages 13-17, are eligible to attend adult classes when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

A general liability, media and allergen waiver must be signed by each child's parent or legal guardian prior to class.  Most classes contain a meat dish.  The Culinary Kitchen cannot accommodate requests for meatless, vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free or dairy-free classes.
